Many websites provide a free list of scholarships for students who are about to attend their colleges. This way you can get a long list of scholarships. Try to note down the criteria for each scholarship as you make your list. This will be easy for you to sort your list of scholarships and finding the right one for you.

It is very important that you apply for the scholarships for which you fulfill all of the qualification criteria, but it is also important to apply for those for which you meet some criteria. There is no harm in applying, as at the most you may not get the scholarship but still you tried. Sometimes there are no takers for a scholarship, and you may very well get it if you have applied for it.
